After four years of talented oversight, Mike Johnston has retired as President and CEO of U.S. Minerals, and will now serve in an advisory role on our Board of Directors with oversight of business strategy, sales, marketing, and raw material sourcing. “Mike has been instrumental in the success of U.S. Minerals during his tenure as CEO,” said Jason Vukas, Vice President. “We are grateful that his vision and leadership will continue.” Joining Mike as Co-Chair of the Board of Directors is former U.S. Minerals President and CEO, Fred Vukas, who will draw upon his knowledge of plant operations to advise on material logistics, production planning, plant optimization and profitability. We are confident this will be a smooth transition where we retain the skills to compete in the markets we serve.
