TINLEY PARK, IL, MONTH DAY, 2021– U.S. Minerals, a leading provider of slag product resources for the roofing and abrasives industry, recently announced the retirement of Mike Mayronne, Regional Sales Manager for the company’s Harvey, Louisiana Plant.
Mayronne spent 21 years in sales for U.S. Minerals, covering Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Arkansas and Texas, as well as working with customers to export products internationally.
“Mike did a great job maintaining customer relationships,” National Sales Manager Aaron Holdread said. “He’s easy to talk to and extremely knowledgeable about the industry. That helped drive repeat business.”
“If your abrasive product doesn’t get delivered when your customer needs it, then nothing else matters because they can’t afford to wait,” Mayronne said. “What has served us well is that the Harvey plant is a high volume processing plant, so we always have material to ship to our customers whenever they need it.”
Mayronne was known as an extremely hard worker, who often made himself available on his days off in order to serve U.S. Minerals customers. His work arranging truck scheduling within the company and externally made it possible to get more loads of product out per day, increasing efficiency at the Harvey plant.
A new territory sales manager will be named in the coming weeks.
